N\u00e9 \u00e0 Berlin en 1927 sous le nom d\u2019Oskar Lewinsohn, il devient orphelin quand son p\u00e8re en 1933 dispara\u00eet apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 arr\u00eat\u00e9 par les nazis et d\u00e9port\u00e9 \u00e0 Buchenwald.<\/p>\n

Sa m\u00e8re et le petit Oskar, surnomm\u00e9 Robby, s\u2019enfuient en France et s\u2019installent \u00e0 Lyon ou va na\u00eetre son second fils Marcel. En 1941, Robby rejoint une ferme-\u00e9cole des EIF \u00e0 Talluyers, pr\u00e8s de Lyon et devient selon ses termes \u00ab juif pratiquant et sioniste \u00bb. Mobilis\u00e9 dans le sauvetage d\u2019enfants juifs en 1943, il assiste impuissant \u00e0 l\u2019arrestation de sa m\u00e8re et de son petit fr\u00e8re \u00e0 Dom\u00e8ne, pr\u00e8s de Grenoble, alors qu’il r\u00e9ussit \u00e0 s\u2019enfuir par les toits.<\/p>\n

Sa m\u00e8re et son fr\u00e8re d\u00e9port\u00e9s de Drancy le 7 mars 1944 ne reviendront jamais. Apr\u00e8s une mission d\u2019espionnage pendant deux mois, se faisant passer pour un Alsacien, il participe \u00e0 la lutte arm\u00e9e au moment de la Lib\u00e9ration puis aide les Alli\u00e9s en interrogeant des prisonniers allemands.<\/p>\n

En 1946, il immigre en Eretz Isra\u00ebl et fait partie du groupe des fondateurs du kibboutz Nev\u00e9 Ilan, pr\u00e8s de J\u00e9rusalem.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s la guerre d\u2019ind\u00e9pendance, il devient arboriculteur et va pendant des ann\u00e9es participer aux plantations d\u2019arbres et de vigne dans le d\u00e9sert du Neguev. Dans les ann\u00e9es 1970, il est nomm\u00e9 directeur du centre d\u2019int\u00e9gration de Dimona puis aide \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9gration des nouveaux immigrants d\u2019Eilat \u00e0 Kyriat Gat, ce qui lui vaut le surnom de, \u00ab Gardien de ses fr\u00e8res \u00bb. Install\u00e9 \u00e0 J\u00e9rusalem apr\u00e8s sa retraite, il publie ses m\u00e9moires (Combats de vie, L\u2019Harmattan, 2007) et t\u00e9moigne de son histoire et de celle de la Shoah en France, recevant jeunes et moins jeunes \u00e0 qui il raconte avec bagout sa vie hors du commun.<\/p>\n
